Technical Glossary (A–Z)
An A–Z reference of technical terms used throughout the Dynamic Planner Open API. This glossary is intended for developers and technical integrators.

A

Access Token
A bearer token issued via OAuth 2.0 that authorises requests to Dynamic Planner Open API endpoints.

Answer
A response provided by a client to a questionnaire question.

Answer Option
A predefined selectable option available for a question.

Answer Value
The value associated with a selected answer option and used in scoring.

Arrangement
A financial record owned by one or more clients, such as an investment, pension, or liability.

Arrangement Reference
An identifier associated with an arrangement, such as a policy number.

Cashflow
A representation of money moving into or out of a financial arrangement.

Client
An individual represented within Dynamic Planner whose data is accessed via the Open API.


D

Dimension
A grouping construct used to organise related profiling factors.

Document
A file or record associated with a client and accessible through the CRM API.

Employee
A user represented in the CRM API, typically associated with an organisation unit.

Envelope
A wrapper object used to return collections of resources with pagination metadata.

Expenditure
A financial outflow representing costs or spending.

Factor
A measurable attribute derived from questionnaire responses.

Factor Score
The calculated value of a profiling factor.

Financial Index
A reference index such as price or earnings inflation.

Financial Plan
A structured plan associated with a client and managed via the CRM API.

Finances API
The API domain providing access to financial arrangements and valuations.

Growth Method
The approach used to calculate how values change over time.

GUID
A globally unique identifier used for API resources.

ISIN
An International Securities Identification Number used to identify holdings.

Investment
A financial arrangement representing invested assets.

Income
A financial inflow associated with a client.

Organisation Unit
A structural unit used to group users and clients within CRM.

Owner
A client associated with a financial arrangement.

Other Asset
A non‑investment asset such as property or business interests.

Other Liability
A financial obligation such as a loan or mortgage.

Pagination
The mechanism for retrieving results in pages using page size and number.

Pension
A retirement‑related financial arrangement.

Protection
An insurance‑based financial arrangement.


Q

Question
A single item within a questionnaire requiring a response.

Question Group
A logical grouping of related questions.

Questionnaire
A structured set of questions used for profiling.

Questionnaire Result
The calculated outcome of a completed questionnaire.

Questionnaire Version
A specific published version of a questionnaire.

Response
A recorded answer submitted for a question.

Response Set
The complete collection of responses for a questionnaire instance.

Result Set
A structured collection of calculated profiling outputs.

Risk Score
A numeric representation of a client’s risk profile.

Score
A numeric value derived from questionnaire responses.

Status
The current state of a questionnaire or result.

Subscription Key
An API key that identifies the consuming application.

Start Date
The date, age, or event when something becomes effective.

Trace ID
An optional identifier used to correlate requests across systems.

Union Filter
A parameter controlling how records are matched across multiple owners.

UUID
A universally unique identifier.

Valuation
A point‑in‑time financial value for an arrangement.
